Lunch Tips and Tricks for Back-To-School

It’s that time of year where the air begins to change, and the kids head back to school! Fall can be such a busy time for families, and prepping lunches that are appealing to your kiddos but still pack nutritional punch can seem like a very daunting process! Don’t worry, My Fresh Basket is here to help make this start to school the easiest one yet! Check out a few of our quick tips on how to make quick, tasty, and nutritious lunches a snap.

 

 

  1. Make your own lunchable! Cut slices of cheese, sliced turkey breast or ham, and some crackers! Add some snap peas, carrots, peppers, and hummus to
  2. Try making roll ups- use a tortilla, or even a green (collard greens or butter lettuce work well). Spread a thin layer of cream cheese, hummus, or spread of choice, put thin slices of carrots, tomatoes, and a protein of your choice(baked tofu, turkey slices, chicken breast). Roll up and pin shut with a toothpick!
  3. Cut up fruit like kiwi, mango, pineapple, and take blueberries, mandarin slices, etc. and make small kebobs! This is fun for the kids and still
